Another exam

And when exam is here, all I do is to look forward any thing other than studying. To be honest, I am really tired of just studying the exact thing for at least last year and half. I almost know what will be examined and this isn’t making any else too. Kudos to you if you are still reading this.

Just to give this post a reasonable length, let me put forward some thoughts from the last week. I am a firm believer of whatever happens, happens for some reasons beneficial for you. My phone broke last week. Since then, I haven’t switched to another one. It feels really awesome to be without a phone. No tensions of spending on credit, no tensions of timely replying to SMS or facing arguments for ignoring em. Meanwhile, I have also deactivated Facebook. Although I miss some Facebook gems by keyboard Jihadis but it still is peaceful because no one is either asking me to get them a car or send recipes. Yeah, those Facebook friends who turn to you when it is only they who need something.

Twitter is off too. I so much missed twimmentary during the SA v Pak ODI series. For someone who has posted nearly 30k tweets in a year, this is still very difficult. Apart from that, I almost knew that I won’t me receiving “where is @ChocoloateCharsi” type of tweets.  Nothing has been surprising there. Keep your real friends closer and virtual friends limited to the availability of internet.

At last, this (for such long) crush is now taking better of me. All those post hitting the bed insomniac thoughts because of a cup of coffee are only dominated by her. A new plan is made every night which is flushed down in the morning by seeing a close one lying dead.

Back to exams. I know what will be examined. I don’t know how should I improve my handwriting in two days. If you are still reading, any tips please? I am seriously not expecting any replies though.

p.s. Chutiyapay sirf tum he nahin dikhatay, Pakistan. Tumhara ustaad South Africa hai!

A moment of silence for the ISLAMIC Republic.

Can any one tell me what is ISLAMIC about this Islamic Republic where people are still fighting over sects and who is on the right path? What can you expect from a country whose youth poulation is more than 50% but that youth is mostly engaged in either City Wars or judging other people on the basis of the sect that they follow?

Since Muharram arrived, there has been a row of secetarian arguments and fights on social media. First, it was about wishing a Happy New Islamic Year. It transformed into Shia-Sunni differences, both trying to prove themselves that they are on the right path and then came the massacre in Rawalpindi, resulting in a cufew.

Among all this, I have just one question to any one reading this. If you call yourself a Muslim, who are you to judge any one?! Haven’t you ever read the Hadith about intentions and actions? Let me post it for you.

It is narrated on the authority of Amirul Mu’minin, Abu Hafs ‘Umar bin al-Khattab, radiyallahu ‘anhu, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam, say:

إنَّمَا الأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّياَّتِ وَإنمَّاَ لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى

“Actions are (judged) by motives (niyyah), so each man will have what he intended.

Who are you to judge any one? It is evident from the Hadith that it is the motives and intentions on which actions are judged. And the judge is the one and only Allah. He is the one who knows about a person’s intentions. Who are you to call one a kaafir? Now that I have brought this up, let me show you another Hadith about calling others Kaafir.

“Withhold [your tongues] from those who say `There is no god but Allah’ — do not call them kafir. Whoever calls a reciter of `There is no god but Allah’ as a kafir, is nearer to being a kafir himself.”

We all pretty much know the sect that hate Ahl e Tashee and what their beliefs are. Here’s a simple question for them. You say that you follow the Ahaadith and Sunnah and when you have these Ahadith in front of you, who has given you such authority to still label others as kaafir?
I am not inclined towards supporting a single group. Every religion and sect has extremists and hateful people but that doesn’t mean that at least we, the literates, start supporting these little bunch of bigots. Islam has taught us to create harmony and show tolerance. Rather than removing this poison from our society, we are note encouraged to fight and label each other as kaafir.
Now before you label me as a kaafir too, let me get this clear. I’m not a Sunni as well as not a Shia. I am a Muslim and I only try to be a better Muslim by following the fundamental princples of Islam. One of those principles is to respect humanity. Whether it is a Muslim or a non Muslim, I will always love and respect humanity. As for my faith, actions and prayers, this matter is between me and my Lord. Only He has the authority to judge me.

Z: Woh na thay bewafa, yaqeenan hum he koi khata kar gaye.

S: Kuch hogi hamari bhi ghalti jo chhor k chalay gaye

Z: Woh jaanain, un ka dil jaanay.. Hum to unki raah taktay reh gaye.

S: Pooja karaain ge, masjid jayen ge, unko khuda se mangtay reh gaye.

Z: Phooti thi qismat hamari, woh kisi aur ki banhon mein beh gaye.

S: Hum bhi dheet hain unki rah taktay rahain ge..

Z: Na unko aana tha, na woh aaye… Hum unko pukartay pukartay, aakhri saansain le gaye.

S: Ab bhi thori umeed hay k aglay janam mein milain ge

Z: Khataa koi karain hum, to pairon mein gir parain ge

S: Na roothain ge na royen ge, buss manatay phirain ge..

Z: Jo haseen pal khwabon ki amaanat hain, unki ta’abeer hasil karain ge.
